Even with a naturally slender, petite frame (5’4” and 110 pounds), this 30-year-old Chicago woman felt her breasts were too small for the rest of her body, and hoped that breast implants could be the answer. She wanted a profile that would be dramatic and curvy, yet still look flattering and natural.

After meeting with breast augmentation specialist Dr. Otto Placik at his Arlington Heights plastic surgery practice, she felt confident that breast enlargement would help her achieve her “dream look.” Because she had so little natural breast tissue, Dr. Placik recommended submuscular placement for her moderate plus profile silicone breast implants. He used 400 cc implants in each side, and this patient went home very happy with her new look.

This 31-year-old patient scheduled a consultation at Dr. Otto Placik’s plastic surgery practice in the Chicago suburbs in the hopes that breast augmentation using implants would help give her a curvier figure. Given her 5’3” height and weight of 135 along with other factors, Dr. Placik recommended 400 cc saline-filled breast implants placed under the muscle.

Although this patient has a minor degree of breast ptosis (sagging), including a breast lift wasn’t considered essential for achieving the best breast augmentation results. After her breast enlargement, Dr. Placik’s patient was very pleased to see a very natural-looking final shape and profile without any visible scars on the breast.
