Nose Job Does Wonders
Amanda Bynes is just one of those celebrities we can’t look away from. Usually, starlets with this kind of attention-drawing abilities have something other women want – a slim frame, beautiful skin, firm buttocks, etc. But while the 27-year-old former Nickelodeon actress has always seemed to dazzle in front of the big – and small – screen, it’s not her acting that’s capturing our attention these days, it’s her behavior.
Bynes, the once quirky comedienne has now entered a more, shall we say “dark-ish” phase in her life replete with a buzz cut, facial piercings, and several DUIs. But despite her turn toward the wild side, she seems to have made one decision that was actually not so out of the ordinary. Despite her decision to change her looks as of late, Bynes has admitted to making one really good choice about her body – getting rhinoplasty.
Bynes recently admitted to having a nose job done a few years ago on her Twitter account. Although we can’t see much of a difference in the before and after pictures, a happy Bynes says she looks much better now than she did pre-nose surgery.
“I had a nose job to remove skin that was like a webbing in between my eyes,” admitted the former What I Like About You actress. “I wasn’t going to tell anyone, but I look so much prettier in my new photos that I don’t want old photos used anymore!”
According to the actress, the photos tabloids keep posting of her are completely inaccurate and don’t look anything like her current self, which isn’t entirely a stretch of the truth.
Rhinoplasty has long been seen as one of the most popular plastic surgery procedures that can be performed at a relatively young age with few complications. Here in Chicago, we have seen countless women and men turn to nose reshaping procedures to either obtain the cosmetic look they desire by reducing the size of width or length of the nose, eliminating the bump many suffer from at the crook of the nose, or for purely medical reasons, such as fixing a deviated septum, which can lead to breathing problems.
In Bynes’ case, her rhinoplasty procedure involved modifying the bridge of her nose to appear more symmetrical and remove the “webbing” she was concerned with.
While many plastic surgery patients are excited about their results, Bynes was beyond ecstatic with her nose job, proclaiming on Twitter: “Having surgery was the most amazing thing for my confidence!”
As Bynes certainly points out, one of the best aspects of plastic surgery is the fact that it can boost an individual’s self-confidence drastically. Because the nose is the center of the face, patients suffering from asymmetrical noses or noses that are too large for the natural shape of the face can have the entire balance of the face thrown off.
What Chicago rhinoplasty aims to do is achieve a sense of harmony in the face to bring out and compliment natural features.
